With Vanguard, all sensitive customer data is handled by Commidea. The Vanguard ecommerce payment solution enables the customer card data to be sent directly to Commidea for transaction verification, approval (or otherwise) and completion, with no sensitive data crossing the merchant’s system.

This means it is easier and less costly for merchants to achieve mandatory PCI DSS compliance.  The Vanguard solution interfaces with Commidea’s fully certified level 1 PCI DSS infrastructure, giving merchants and online shoppers the reassurance of a highly secured payment gateway.

Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and PayPal are integrated as standard, adding another layer of confidence for the online shopper.

Additional Features

Although Vanguard manages the payment data, merchants retain full control of the customer experience, with seamless branding throughout the transaction.

Optional features include ‘tokenisation’, whereby sensitive data is securely stored within Commidea’s PCI DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure, and a unique token ID is returned to the merchant to store against their customer records to enable seamless service for subsequent purchases.
