Lush select Commidea's credit card processing solution
Commidea’s lightning quick Chip & PIN solutions are helping Lush stores enjoy the sweet smell of success.The leading high street chain, renowned for its innovative soap and beauty products, followed up a series of good references and enlisted leading card payment provider Commidea to upgrade its sluggish bank-owned terminals to a faster and more efficient solution.
With customers waiting up to 40 seconds for each transaction to be processed, Lush was experiencing serious queuing issues at peak times. As a brand that prides itself on customer service, it needed a rapid repose IP-based terminal solution. Payments now take a mere 10 seconds from start to finish, prompting positive feedback from staff in store.
In total, more than 200 Ocius VX510 terminals have been installed across all 88 of Lush’s sites throughout UK and Ireland. These are flanked by SC5000 Daisy Chain PIN pads to replicate their existing PoS layout, with terminals facing staff and customers at all times.
This meant a smooth roll-out, which slotted seamlessly into Lush’s day-to-day business and retained a setup that was familiar to both customers and staff. It also provides easy payment access for less able customers, tying in perfectly with the company’s customer friendly ethos.
